Keeping NZ beautiful

Took the gumboots to work today and about twenty of us prowled the stream and the streets around the old school, picking up rubbish. At one point I had sixteen (yep 16!) tiny ducklings paddling beside me as I stirred up nutrient and yummy creek weed. Fluffy as. Had rubbish bag in one hand and gloves, and camera was back in the office - you'll just have to take my word for it.

But, still on cute as a button: the new niece!

Mum and Mia, six hours old yesterday evening at Wellington Hospital.
