Driving home yesterday through a pastel green world, I wondered if it would hail. Green tinged clouds in Sydney mean hail, but we don't get much of that here. The sky arena was pale green, reflecting off low cloud sitting on city and harbour and wet and foggy. Like driving through a green balloon.
It did hail as I drove alongside the harbour, lots of wee ice bits that melted immediately. Mish was driving the other way, going out for dinner with a friend, so we got hailed on together. Then on and off through the night, the crack of ice on south facing windows. Cold. Wintry!
