...it's gone.
Replaced by icy winds and f-f-f-freezing temperatures. About 1 degree out there tonight, minus wind chill, a bit of hail about, blustery gusts straight off Antarctic ice, and snow in Wellington down to 300mt (we're at 250).
Much whinging at work where the radiators couldn't hack it today and everyone worked with jackets on or blankets wrapped around the shoulders. I had my beanie on all day.
The big guns came out yesterday: the possum cap and the woollen German fisherman's jersey. The latter is going to work tomorrow - hey, what the hell, I might work in the possum cap too! It has fur ear flaps that would keep you toastie in a blizzard. Good use for a possum.
Mish doesn't put her big guns away until mid summer, she just layers more on. And on. And over top.
