Around the yard

The yellow rose at the top of the drive is going for it.

Looking down the drive, the old Thomas family doorbell is still on duty.

And just around the bend, looking down the drive, we have as yet unidentified purple flowering shrubs, also going for it in spring.

Two of the girls are up! Hardenbergia violacea Alba & Cistus x dansereaui in between, advanced magnolia behind, two older apple trees on the right and a feijoa on the left.

Mulch yet to come in this corner, but we are out of steam so no more shovelling and barrowing today.

Earlier, bags of ZooDoo going into the new corn planting area. Grass begone (gradually).

There they are, the little darlings.

A couple of wee pumpkin plants are nestled in mulch at the far end of the row,. Hopefully they'll spread out from there - vines loaded with butternuts.

And then, beer or wine or sherry or ginger soda time. Maybe all of the above. Plenty of seats for visitors. Sometime. Post Covid time.
