Windy packing: 120kmh is pretty breezy

Packing book boxes (in bought boxes) and misc other things (in found boxes). Pottering packing!

One day cold windy winter; next day calm hot summer. Today, fogged in and warm.  Quite the mix of weather the last few weeks.

The bottom shed is half packed up and the living room has a corner of stacked boxes. House is a mess.

Interspersing bits of weeding and garden maintenance so we leave the place looking respectable, plus potting plants to take, and babysitting veg patch in persistent and strong winds. Blew the broad beans about, but saved some.

It's been so windy here it's blown the colour off the paua shell in the birdbath.

Got a bumper crop of monarch butterflies coming along at mum's more sheltered garden. Current count is five in cocoons and five hanging in hooks ready to cocoon and about 10 more coming so more swan plants needed. These two are in synchronised hook hanging. They haven't started to go pale yet, so freshly hanging.
