Citrus works

Mmmmm.

First, boil your oranges, tangelos, lemons, and limes. Skins and pips and Unce Tom Cobbly and all. Kitchen smells great.

Look everywhere for the piece of muslin you know is here somewhere. Find that and wrap up the citrus pulp and hang from a devishly clever hook & stool Mish arrangement.

24 hours slow drip.

This evening, add sugar, boil, then pour into jars getting  sticky wee bits on bench, floor, cupboards, and table (how did it get over there?)

Ta dah! Citrus jelly.

Should be clear, but, oh well. It sure is zingy. One for mum, one for the neighbour who mows our shared edge out the front, three for us.

Mmm mmm. Jude - give it a go, it's a citrus blast and tastes fantastic.

  3. Yep, will email you the recipe. Quite grapefruity last night (and no grapefruit in it, go figure), but much more orangey tangy this morning.
