Just gone 9 pm, still very light outside, despite the very low mist and cloud and drizzle. And wind of course. A very Scottish night.
Got the Christmas lights on inside and this is the view from the kitchen table to the clothes line fish.
Temperature has dropped from yesterday's highs across the country (a hot mid 30s in the South Island), to about 12 outside now.
Summer solstice.
It'll warm up in January and February, it always does.
