We've been watching this phenomenon every since we've been here on the hill (four years). On sunrise, the sun hits the western hill over the valley and one window blazes. Just one. It's not always the same house (time of day, seasons), but it is always one house going off. Angle of the window facing the sun? Curious.
At the other end of the day...
Watching the news tonight with low cloud blowing through. At one stage the only thing we could see was a torch-like sun blazing through the whiteout. By the time we went 'wow, look at that get the camera' the cloud had moved on a bit to give us a bit of blue.
