Autumn: warm, windless and dry

Lovely autumnal days continue, tops of about 20 degrees in Wellington this week. Got home this evening and we drove into the city for a walk around Oriental Bay, dodging joggers all the way. Sheesh.
Ice cream on the way back - a new flavour in our favourite dairy: nectarine and muscovado. Richly fruity with nectarine, luscious.
Back home with the last red light over the western hills. Now it's all inky streaky black. Video hits on the tv and a nice cuppa tea on the table - and there goes hump day.

Looking back across the harbour to our place (top of the hill above the tug).

And a cute mosaic tugboat, one of the artworks lining the esplanade at Oriental Bay.
Gotta love a tugboat!
