Pilates and yoga on our square inch of grass
Mish waving to the planes on Sunday morning (aka Pilates). Such a lovely morn. Then we headed north up the coast to Raumati and looked at a few houses. Nothing very interesting. Had put the mountain bikes on the back of the van but the weather turned while we were there so we just had a wander on the beach instead. Some of us had a paddle in the surf, and others demurred because it was 'freezing'.
Heading back in the late afternoon we saw some very Scottish misty weather flow in off the sea and over Pukerua Bay. We drove into that rainstorm (heavy, a la Sydney), and found out later that there was a tornado in that freaky weather. It ripped along one street in Raumati, tearing up trees and whipping off a couple of roofs. Not common, but not that rare any more either. The weather she is a changing.
Mish has been tackling weeds all day, laying cardboard as mulch and loading the van with green waste. She is now reclining and waiting for someone to massage some good ole NZ antiflamme into her calves. Must away...
