The oranges are plentiful on the tree so we gave it a go.
It's ok but not as gutsy as I'd like. Will make another batch in a few weeks. We now know when not to use the fruit, when it is too old it goes dry. When it's too young it lacks the oomph that Seville oranges have. There's more fine tuning with Seville than with other citrus marmalades.
Not sure if we are past frosty mornings but we are getting some beautiful warm winter days now. Spring is in the air!
