The neighbour's kowhai tree split in two on a recent high wind day, and today the arborists came to take the whole thing down. The tui and us will miss that beautiful yellow tree that hung over our car park area.
Almost gone.
How sad! It's always a pity to see a tree felled especially if it has been there and healthy for a long time.
