Steaming along!
The end of the new wing: mistresses bedroom and studio. The cladding is actually black and will get a couple more coats soon. Windows are great, we love them. We didn't love the one that got installed where the plywood now is, at left. That's the linkway between bedroom and bathroom. Out she came and the new one arrives tomorrow. Our mistake, oops; new window will give us a better view of the island.
Round the back, the ramp at the back door goes in soon as will the windows for the dining room push out. The little washhouse window grows up to become part of a bigger new kitchen. That's stage 2 which they'll start at the end of July.
Still no rain delays so we're lucky in that the bit of rain we have had has been mainly at night and the weekend. And it's still fairly warm. And the builders are still getting Mish baking, so all is dandy on the work site.
Inside, we've emptied the little bedroom and we're having a go at getting wallpaper off. Haven't done that before. Mish is busting things in the old wardrobe.
Also inside, we put the tv on the wall. Yes he is tall.
