They're back

 Feijoa galore. Delicious.

Most of these are off the mammoth tree, we call them the grenades. We have three other trees, different varieties all in the back corner by the garage, so we get inundated with feijoa (aka pineapple guava) in autumn. As do a lot of people around us - you can see many cardboard boxes on the streets with a 'free' sign on them.

What's also back is Michelle's Covid. She's down again, two weeks now, coughing all through the night propped on pillows. The cough and associated tiredness is the main thing this time. NZ is running at about 11,000 cases a day now, hardly anyone wearing masks out and about. We do, and look what happened! Bum.
