Solargraphy: A home made pin hole camera

What fun!

An image of the sun passing over Kapiti in a long exposure. I drilled a wee hole in a can of Israeli olives (they were delicious), placed a sheet of photographic paper in the can and cable tied it to a post in the garden for a few weeks.

Solargraphy. My first pin hole camera. This is almost exactly how it came out of the can. All I did was invert the colours and crop the image.

I can see the ribs of the olive can though, so the next can will be a smooth can of coconut water (which was also delicious). I'll find a different spot in the yard and leave it out there for a year.
