Kapiti Island from Te Horo

With shags. Looks different from further north.


 

And the sunflowers have come to an end. Sparrows and the finches are in there now, getting something to eat from the flowers heads, not sure what. So have left the stalks up while they collect that food, and have collected some seeds from the big reds and yellows for next year.
