More garage works

Borer! 

Blast it. The rotters are active. We saw plenty of holes, luckily not in the frame, and hoped they'd departed.

Oh well, it's a rough and ready original garage. Borer common in this area, and flies and ants. Apparently borer are partial to rough milled, untreated wood. We'll get their little boring butts extinguished in the garage, and we have solid old wood with no borer in the house, which is great. Our floors are native hardwood and they don't like that.

So, back we go into the garage to pack up nails etc and move everything into the middle area, or out of there and into the house. 

Luckily, this beautiful big blue thing -  new purchase! - packs up like a butterfly's wings, so it can sit in the middle while we get the garage sprayed.

Cars definitely staying outside now.
