Walking up the drive after a warm morning walk along the beach to the local shops. A cooler autumn morning to start, and definitely cooler last night as the curtains wafted in a light breeze.
Then a spot of mowing for the first time. Figured out starting and forward motion and cutting and stopping. Grass hasn't grown much since we've been here.

We keep discovering quirky things in house and yard, like the neatly cut slice out of the gutter just before rain gets to the down pipe. Have put a bucket under it so we can collect some precious rain.
I'd like to have a meadow...(she mowed around them).
