The admirals are in town.
Yellow admiral butterfly.
And a red admiral happy on a hebe.
Mish has been tarting up the gutters and the chimney with a wire brush scrub and some touch-up paint.
Chimney is now startling white, especially against a stormy sky (but still no rain).
It's nice to quietly admire the admirals, standing on the back deck with a beer after work on a warm afternoon.
The monarchs haven't cocooned yet.
