Two whole days off - how fabulous!
Raining here; we've been out at a nursery, bought a truckload of soil (coming tomorrow), coffee with an old friend, and had an op shop browsing moment in Petone.
The harbour was gorgeous today: all cool greeny grey and low cloud sitting gently on the hills and city. Very evocative of living at the south end of the world.
Got the heaters on tonight and was going to settle in with tax paperwork, but stuff it - we are settling in with passion fruit fudge and the film Tinker, tailor, soldier, spy, and there's a good chance there will be cups of tea as well.
Have started a new section on the website - found poetry - and here's image #2. A wonderful word in a cruddy alley in the city. Good contrast, eh?

Good contrast yes. Glad to hear it's raining. Hope you enjoyed the film as much as I did. From the rather quiet land of Ryde State Office, where School Magazine, and the old SLIL Unit are the last residents awaiting removal. Jude
