Just watching four planes land at the airport; headlights on, lined up over Cook Strait, they look like bright stars hanging in the sky. That's a record - we often see two lined up, sometimes three. Dinky little Wellington isn't a big airport - you can stand in the international meeting area and watch domestic flyers picking up their bags. So four landings at once, wo.
Another first tomorrow - we're catching the train to town. We can walk down the hill for 15 minutes to get to the station, and the train goes to the edge of the CBD , beside the Beehive. Then you can jump a bus or stroll into city central. Mish is off to a temp agency to talk about work opportunities and I'm off to a photo shop to talk about marrying film and digital bits (work of the devil). That $50 voucher for sports shoes has been burning a hole in my pocket for a while too...
But first - Men in Black 3D, tonight!
